For the kind of house we are talking about, approximately 605 bags of cement are required at the rate of PKR 1,220 per bag. Meanwhile, you will require around 3 tonnes (3,000 kg) Rebar or 60-grade Sarya to construct a 5 marla house. The rate per tonne of Sarya is PKR 260,000 and the total cost of Sarya used would be PKR 780,000.

Controlling termite infestation before construction begins can really help you as these insects dwell in places where there is a high concentration of dampness and moisture. Approximately, PKR 8,500 is needed to ward off termite infestation.
Meanwhile, the cost for waterproofing your roof for a 5 marla house is PKR 16,444 and the roof insulation will cost around PKR 36,354.
